The Sting Story
There was once a mechanical bull in a rodeo. His creator and owner, Mr. J. M. Bullard, friends with the legendary developer of Jagson, was a genius who saw true potential in his taurine companion. Using a time machine teleporter, Mr. Bullard took his bull to the future and used a combination of advanced technology and previously undiscovered materials to turn this mechanical rodeo bull into a masterpiece of engineering.
The inhabitants of the future, however, did not approve of the visitor of the past. These inhabitants, sentient robots who controlled all facets of life in the future, were fearful and jealous of the new creation, and attacked Mr. Bullard and tried to destroy his creation. Mr. Bullard instead managed to send his creation, christened Sting, back into the past, but was not able to escape himself. The robot overlords were furious, and struck him down in their anger. Mr. Bullard was no more.
Upon arriving back in the past, Sting came online. With no memories of his creator or anything that had happened, Sting followed his programming of self-preservation and went back to work at the rodeo as a mechanical bull. Sting was careful to keep his abilities a secret, knowing that if he were discovered, he would surely be dismantled. Then came the stranger. This stranger, a robot time traveler from the future with a sword across his back, recognized the hidden sentience of Sting. Coming to him one night, the traveler spoke to Sting. He spoke of the nuclear apocalypse that demolished society, and described the horrors of the Anvient Wars between the surviving species on Earth, insects. The traveler told Sting about the robot Overlords and their tyrannical rule, and convinced him to go on a dangerous quest to save the future.
Through the empty plains of the Robotlands, the traveler and Sting travelled day and night, facing fearsome beasts and dangerous opponents. First came the Spiders, mutated cyborgs with spiderlike limbs protruding from their backs. These grotesque fiends were equipped with guns on each limb, and hauntingly empty expressions. Next came the Scorpions, fierce enemies of the Spiders. Radioactive, scorpionlike robots, the Scorpions built nests inside empty giant robots, observing their territory through glass eyes. The Scorpions were ferocious and vicious. At every possible turn, Sting and the traveler were hunted by these robots. Finally, after months of battle and hardship, Sting and the traveler stood at the edge of the territory of the Overlord. It was here that the traveler explained the quest.
“This is the territory of the 4 villainous Lords and their armies, as well as the Overlord, the ruler of Earth. Before you can hope to defeat the Overlord, you will have to defeat each of the 4 Lords and extract a piece from each of them. Take each piece and use them to fill this cube.” At this, the traveler brought out a glowing cube of immense power. “Once you have a piece of each of the 4 Lords, take this cube to the location on the map and slot it into the hole on the table, inserting each piece. The cube will draw in the power of the stars and will give you magical armour to protect you, and will give you a weapon with the power to defeat the Overlord.”
Little did they know, they were sitting on top of a nest of Scorpions. The Scorpions attacked, and the traveler was nearly killed, but Sting attacked the Scorpion before it could strike the fatal blow, skewering the Scorpion on his horn. As the Scorpion died, it used its razorsharp stinger, and pierced Sting’s horn. The radioactive venom of the Scorpion’s stinger should have killed Sting, but instead it mutated the advanced technological programming within him. The venom fortified his horns, making them indestructible and unstoppable. But it had a strange side effect: When Sting is angry, his horns glow red and give off immense heat, and when he is calm, they shine with an icy blue light. But the Scorpions did not stop coming. With his new found power, Sting attacked the Scorpions, but there were simply too many. The traveler knew that to save the future, Sting would have to go on without him, so he handed Sting the map and the cube before leaping into the middle of the horde of Scorpions. Before the traveler died, he set off an explosion, killing the monsters and allowing Sting to escape.
Now Sting stands on the precipice of this hellscape, alone with unreachable odds. Faced with the task of defeating the Overlord, Sting is armed only with his knowledge, the cube that will save the future, and his determination.
The Dinosaur. Can only be defeated by the Ultra Blade, a sword imbued with the power of an asteroid. Once the Ultra Blade is pulled from the bottom of the ocean, the power will summon thousands of carnivorous dinosaurs, all intent on destroying the possessor of the sword. Only once each dinosaur is defeated and the ground is wet with their blood will the Dinosaur appear. Plunge the Ultra Blade into the center of the Dinosaur’s chest, and he will be defeated.
Archer Conumus, the Shadow Warrior. Tribal warrior paint makes this villain terrifying to look at, if you ever get the chance. He only travels in the dark or through shadows, and his arrows are laced with a new strain of Deathamite that morphs his victims into slaves for his army. This warrior can only be defeated in a traditional one-on-one battle, as a test of strength.
Samurai Skeleton, otherwise known as the Dead Samurai. His main weapon is a flail, a spiked ball on a chain, which he wields with destructive force. Strike his lazybone, the third bone on his left side, with the tailbone of a T-rex, and the Samurai will collapse for 1000 years.
The Snake King, Titan. He is a massive snake with venom made of liquid Deathamite, which can dissolve any metal. At 20 meters tall, the Snake King is large enough to swallow 2 busses whole, and is long enough to wrap himself around the Empire State Building 3 times. He rides a chariot led by venom-spitting Titan Boas. To defeat this adversary, you must cut off his fang and pierce him with his own venom, which will dissolve him.
Evolvatron, leader of the Cyborgs. He is the biggest and baddest of the cybernetic humanoid mercenaries. Each cyborg rides a robot mosquito, which was enslaved during the Anvient Wars. Evolvatron’s power comes from consuming his enemies, evolving and growing with each new meal. His armour is made of the strongest metal on the planet, Obsolvitum. Use the weapon that you get from the cube and remove any part of Evolvatron, which will render him powerless.
